About Monica
Monica Mao
Monica has sold over $43M to date across Los Angeles. Monica uses her analytical background and professional experience to create an unparalleled home buying and selling experience for her clients. Having grown up in Los Angeles, Monica is intimately familiar with the nuances and personalities of each neighborhood.
After graduating from Chapman University with a degree in Economics and minor in Business Finance, Monica worked as an analyst for a large international law firm in downtown Los Angeles pricing and evaluating multimillion dollar case budgets, and then for Gucci in New York City analyzing client demographics and purchasing behavior.
Believing that there’s no place like home, Monica eventually returned to Los Angeles to become a real estate agent and learn from the best in the business, her mother Lucy Mao who is a top producing real estate agent at Compass and ranked in the top 1.5% of all real estate agents in the nation by Wall Street Journal.
